Ramblings

Ward rounds are a bit funny. Due to the fact that i get asked the randomest questions for which i am usually unable to answer. I've also been stressed recently because of a presentation i have to do this friday. I was a bit confused about what i was supposed to be presenting. I guess when worst comes to worst, the renal registrar will be there to answer any questions. Plus, i hadn't done my errands which i wanted to do: call up my GP (but i think he'll be in a bad mood as the aussies aren't faring well against the kiwis in cricket, maybe i don't have to call him as it's been a long time since the exams), to email UQ to ask for a letter for my repeating internal medicine rotation and to come up with a formal letter for Pg. Ayup.

Ah well.

I did watch Suburban Girl over the weekend, which was alright. I'd rate it 3/10. I also viewed 'BrideWars' last friday at Myer. Thank goodness for concession fares. BrideWars was funny and probably something to watch if you're desperate to watch something. The plot wasn't sublime but i did enjoy seeing Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. They are sooo pretty and skinny. I especially liked Anne's dresses and coats. I've been sleeping early for the past few weeks. Okay, since the rotation started cause i felt exhausted when i came home. Thus, have not been studying much. Exams are in 4 weeks and i need to step up my game. The hot weather's not helping much. I wish i had airconditioning in my room. Its been horrible for the people in Victoria as the bushfire disaster has killed 108 (at last count) people and destroyed many homes. I pray the fires stop soon and help comes for the people there.
