Prof Marwick wants an acute on chronic case and so i thought chronic liver disease would be a great one. The one i did she has haematemesis due to oesophageal varices and portal vein thrombosis. I'll have to look it up if i have to present that case. Consultant at ED was super-busy. The shorts i did there were some things i forgot to do ie hepatic flap & auscultation. Crappy short. But the cranial nerve short was okay. I knew she wouldn't have signs anyway.
